My husband is the smartest person I know. Last year he built a Text Message RSVP Service to use for event planning. He is amazing in IT and can have ideas and actually make them come to life; I don’t know how he does it.

We had recently been to many weddings, and always had some kind of issue with RSVPing. We just were too lazy to go put the RSVP card in the mailbox, the wedding website wouldn’t let us RSVP from our phones, our RSVP reply was lost in the mail, the list goes on and on.

After Dan proposed in April 2018, he decided to start building so we could use it for our wedding, which was in May. Dan was able to build the app and have it up and working perfectly by the time our big day rolled around.

You have no idea how much easier it made my life. I still wanted to have traditional invitations, and even RSVP cards, but I didn’t want to have to get extra stamps, then wait for the RSVP cards to come back in the mail, then track/log in the RSVP count on a spreadsheet. I am in spreadsheets every day at work, if I could avoid having to do that for my wedding, count me in.

We actually initially used Postable to get all of our wedding guests’ information, highly recommended. You just text/email/message them the link and have them fill out all their information and it logs it online for you. Then you can export it to an excel sheet. No manual keying! Once again, sign me up.

So, so easy to use and sooo convenient. You sign up and you are given an RSVP number for your event. I put the text number on the invitation. The guest simply sends a text message to the number and the intelligent text message platform gathers their information and logs it into the website. You can ask custom questions, it’s amazing! Please go check it out!

Also, I had my invitations custom made by Jessica Wiseman. She did SUCH AN AMAZING JOB. I’m still obsessed with them.
